i have so much i want to say. so much i want to get down on "paper". so much that needs to be told. so much that needs to be documented.
i just don't know where to start.
so, i just took a breath and here's where i'm going tonight:
Ali does this every year. i've kinda participated before but have never committed. this year, i'd like to think i am committed to it. check out the class HERE technically you do not have to do the class to participate. the class, i think, is more or less to help you stay focused on your one word.
this year is such a mile stone year for my family. teen ager will be graduating and heading off to college 3.5 hours away. for me, this next year is going to bring a lot of new experiences into my life. i'm looking forward to these new experiences. i'm dreading some of these experiences but the one thing they ALL have in common, is that i want to be present for each and every one of these experiences.
so, effectively, the word EXPERIENCE has chosen ME for 2011.
and you know what? i'm cool with that. i can roll with that. i'm excited to see what comes!
and next on the agenda?
i am REcommitting to this project. i'm not sure what happened this last time. life probably. maybe running out of things to take pics of. honestly, how many pictures can you take of your dogs and cats? with my one little word for 2011 is experience, what better way to document those experiences than project life, right? right!
and now, back to your regularly scheduled programming.
i am grateful:
- for dr post - for fixing up teen ager this morning so she could show!
- a safe drive to OKC
- the great weather we have had in OKC the last 2 days - sounds like it's about to change
- cell phones, texting, internet - all the better to keep in touch with everyone at home
- for the great kid we have in our teen ager
just breathing isn't living!
