gentle reader,

never say goodbye. say see ya later instead.

never ignore an opportunity to tell someone you love them.

two weeks ago we had to say see ya later to a very dear friend.

a woman i spent more than 25 years calling friend.

until now, i could not find the words. even today, the words are difficult. they get stuck in my throat. they get stuck in my tears.

i miss this woman terribly. i still pick up my phone to text her good morning. i still want to call her and see how she's doing.

but i can't.

she's not going to answer me back.

there is a hole in my heart that will never recover. 

my heart shattered the night i received the news that she left us. only my memories can mend the pieces.

i'm grateful for all the memories i do have.

she came to work for kiroworld as our CA. 

let me tell you...she set the bar for every CA that followed her.

she very quickly became a part of our family.

words can not even express how much she is missed.

i love you, vettie.  i will miss you every day until we meet again.

i am grateful:

• for every day i knew her
• for every phone call we ever had
• for every text she ever sent me
• for her friendship
• for every memory

just breathing isn't living!
